Swiss Licenses (A and D)

We prepare you to take the practical exam in order to obtain the motorboat and sailing license.

We welcome you all year round, (even in winter depending on the conditions) at your convenience.
 
The courses are given in private or in groups (maximum 2 people) all year round, from the port of Paudex. We do also train student at Lausanne, Lutry and Pully.
​It takes about 15 hours to be able to take the exam with confidence. (The SAN recommends about 20 hours)
However, the program is tailor-made and the number of hours can be reduced for students with experience.

The course hours include training, boat, insurance, fuel and course materials.

Courses can be given in French, English and Spanish.​

The course can be canceled without fee with a minimum of 24h in advance.

Privates courses

  • 1 hour : CHF 98.-
  • 1.5 hours : CHF 135.-
  • Package 10h: CHF 900.-​


Two people courses

  • 1 hour (p. p.): CHF 65.-
  • Package 10h (p. p.): CHF 600.-
  • Package 16h (p. p.): CHF 950.-


​The examination with the expert on the school boot is charged CHF 95.-

Courses can be cancelled free of charge at least 24 hours in advance.

Sea Licenses "Côtier - Hauturier"

Coastal license

Procedure
Marinereeus is working in partnership with a French school located just 1h15 from Lausanne. You first study by e-learning, once ready, you go to the French school to review the theory (code review) with additional advice. Approximate duration 5hours. Then, the 40min theoretical exam takes place in Thonon or Annemasse, then once the theoretical exam has been passed, you will have to practice 2 hours in Yvoire or Nernier and then receive your coastal license within 6 weeks.

– EUR 78 revenue stamp.

Sea License “Hauturier”
​
The advantage is that it is much cheaper than the Swiss sea license and does not require validation of nautical miles.

Procedure
We train you to be able to study alone (practical exercises) for 8 hours in the Lausanne region. During this part, we see the map exercises together (positioning, compass heading, deviation, alignments, surface course, current and bottom course). Also, we are working on the tide calculations. In parallel and then, you train alone with the exercises available in the course material (fifteen hours of self-study in total allow you to take the exam with confidence). For the exam, you present yourself as a free candidate in Lyon, which is the closest, then receive your offshore license within 6 weeks (a provisional authorization is sent if you pass the exam).
